Everything changes with time… our former high elevation mountain chalet has been transformed. Following its reopening in the winter of 2018, it now shines with new glamour – as Alm 1350 above Saalbach. It has been transformed, just like our beloved Saalbach-Hinterglemm, which has continually reinvented itself since 1350, when the history books first record its existence. But our property does not just take its name from the year in which Saalbach-Hinterglemm was founded. As luck would have it, the Alm is also located at an elevation of exactly 1350 metres above sea level, directly next to the summit station of the Hochalm cable car and is thus the ideal starting point for winter and summer activities of all kinds.

The Feiersinger family, the hosts of the Alm, are particularly pleased with the results of the face lift. There are now two snug welcoming restaurant areas where those enjoying the great outdoors in the Saalbach mountains can come to spend time and recharge their batteries. There is a restaurant serving the very best – how could it be otherwise – traditional Austrian cuisine. Not to forget the two generously proportioned apartments that offer the very latest in comfort and even have saunas with panoramic views to help guests relax after a strenuous day in the mountains.
