Our ski destination Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn is known as the home of fun. Fun because of the 270 kilometres of piste on which ski and snowboarders can really get their fill of enjoyment. Fun because of the 70 ski lifts and cable cars that ply tirelessly to the summits, bringing you to where you can carve your way back down into the valley. And fun because of the 60 chalets in which you can retank your energy after all that activity in the snow. Alm 1350 is a somewhat unusual and contemporary interpretation of a mountain chalet. Winter walking is one of the best ways to explore the snowy landscape. Accompanied by the wintesun or snowflakes, a winter hike always is a special experience.
SNOW TRAILS
Winter sports fans used to love natural forest terrain. The naturally narrow tracks running along the edges of the forest and slopes, with plenty of waves and steep bends, were a sure-fire guarantee for action and fun. A welcome variety in the days before carving skis came around.
Depending on snow conditions, there is a large number of so-called “snow trails” scattered throughout the ski area. The routes are determined by the topographical characteristics of the terrain.
